about

One of the first tunes I wrote post-Alanalda. Just an ode to comfort eating really, which I do quite a bit. Especially chocolate. We shot a video in our living room in a farmhouse in Co. Kilkenny. A lot of wasted food and it stank for a few days after but the resulting video wasn't the worst.

lyrics

Verse 1
I have no love
But I have comfort food
To think about while I'm at work
A highlight of the day
A little bite to keep me alive
And help to ease the pain

Verse 2
I don't do drugs
Now I have comfort food
It's a safer bet although more fat
Cotton wools my bones
Chocolate's my narcotic
Potato chips they
Keep me safe and warm

Mid
My salivation over alimentation
Shows no dignity
But I find salvation in alimentation
Don't you know it comforts me

Outro
It's the little things
In life that make
It worth putting up with the shit
A little bite keeps me alive
And helps to ease the pain.
