I made a pact with myself Yeh to fake my own death After midnight. Everyone thought I drowned But I didn't go down I was alright So please don't ask me to tell you How it used to be I don't wanna relive those Wasted memories that I had In the past I relocated to Spain A village where no-one came In the mountains. I changed my name to Jose Kept out of everyone's way Yeh I was outcast So I don't wanna tell you Exactly how it was I staked everything I had To have what I have got right now It is past I've never wanted regrets And as the memory fades It is easier To forget what I did Yeh live my life how it is Now I am free-er So I don't wanna relive The dying life I led Life is simpler now that I've left it all for dead A chance to live again with the Lessons learned Instead In the end In the past (c) Dermot O'Leary 2004

All of your magnetic debts Follow you around forever 'Coz somewhere there's a file being kept About all of your behaviour And should you try to jump from the net Be sure that you'll be forcibly met And all of those magnetic strips With their coded information Will tell you when you last took a breath And the exact location And should you try to jump from the bowl Be sure that you'll be forcibly told That there's always someone watching Just in case you fall out of the nest Yeah you know your mommy loves you And she knows just what is best Don't throw your pathetic fits 'Coz that'll get you nowhere Take part in the apathetic bliss That someone else knows better And should you try to jump from the pen Be sure that you'll be put back there again 'Coz there's always someone watching Just in case you fall out of the nest Yeah your older brother loves you And he knows just what is best Should you try to get out of the house Be sure that you'll be left in no doubt That all cosmetic benefits You thought you always needed Will be taken from you fortwith And you can lie there bleedin' Should you try to struggle to your feet A gentle voice will tell you there's no need 'Coz there's always someone watching Just in case you fall out of the nest Yeah you know your nanny loves you And she knows just what is best (c) Dermot O'Leary 2005

I have Steve's shirt I bought it in Monroe's The sleeves are real short But I couldn't borrow What would Steve think if he knew that I had Bought his tee-shirt for just fifty cent I have Steve's shirt His name's on the collar It looks like smudged dirt But it's permanent marker What made Steve need to give up his threads Did he need the money to pay off some debts I don't really know Just know that it keeps me covered From summer breezes Stops me from wheezin and catching a cold I wore Steve's shirt To Debbie and Willard's They said that it looked Awfully familiar "Was it that guy who tried to top himself?" "That friend of Lauren's was it?". I just said... That I don't really know Just know that it keeps me covered From summer breezes Stops me from wheezin and catching a cold But this shirt is no longer his. It's mine And I wear it all the time So I guess that I'll just cross out his name And I'll fill in mine instead So I took off Steve's shirt And I took out a marker Put an 'X' thru his name And inserted my moniker What would Steve think if he knew that I had Erased the memory of him then just laughed That I don't really know Just know that it keeps me warm No I don't really know Just know that it keeps me covered From summer breezes Stops me from wheezin and catching a cold (c) Dermot O'Leary2006

The path goes on and on But the woods will thicken fast You thought that you could run But you know I'm gonna catch ya I've gotta gun No-one's gonna run from me I called the president He said "I've gotta talk to God" Then set a precedent by saying "We don't need his love Yeah who needs love? We've got all the guns!" 'Coz I've got The power of Love The power of God The power to shove Whoever I want I Am The Law The shack is empty now And I need somebody there When I come back from huntin' Lions. tigers and the bears Who didn't care For what I had to say That I got The power of Love The power of God The power to shove Whoever I want I Am The Law We can stay in you'll be my friend I'll go hunting you can cook them If you want to we can love them Just be sure that you hold my hand.. The chamber's empty now I've left you lying in the grass You could have been someone But you chose to take the path Away from us No-one's gonna run from us 'Coz I got The power of Love The power of God The power to shove Whoever I want I Am The Law (c) Dermot O'Leary 2003
